This helps the Public in making a better choice for themselves on the business they want to do business with. It also allows the users to bookmark their favorite locations and browse their past adventures, reminding them to return to your business that was so much fun on the first visit. When the user adds a business to their favorites it will also notify them of any specials you post or coupons you issue through YP.com.
Yp.com has a page rank of 7 out of 10. That is a very powerful link pointing to your site. This will boost your traffic, sales and page rank. Not to mention it looks professional. It tells your clients/customers that you are here to stay and have the money needed to advertise your business confirming your stability.
It is in the top 20,000 sites in the world. People have been trained for generations to go to the Yellow Pages to find good places of business for their needs. The only down fall is the $300 dollar a month price tag. You can sign up for a free listing, however, it normally shows up at the bottom of a long list of companies. There are companies that have tremendous success at getting your business to the top of the Yellow Pages list for a much cheaper price than even Yellow Pages themselves offer. I used Jaxsmallbiz.com they put me and all my friends businesses in the top 3 some even in the first spot in the listings for their category. This can really make a business successful all by itself and its a fraction of the prices. They also do review writing and promote users to review for your business as well.
